The Police have informed the general public that sufficient security measures have been put in place for the planned Environmental Prayer Walk by the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, today Friday, October 11.
The prayer walk will begin at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, which is the converging point and proceed through Castle Road, to the Old Electoral Commission Office at Ridge and through to the AU Roundabout.
The walk will take the third exit at the AU Roundabout onto Independence Avenue, proceeding to the Ako Adjei Interchange.
It will then turn right towards the National Police Headquarters Traffic Light, turn left along Josif Broz Tito Avenue, and then turn left onto Jawaharlal Nehru Road, and terminate at Christ the King Catholic Church. "As a result of this event, there will be temporary traffic holdups in the affected areas within the City.
