The Chief of Jinijini in the Berekum West Constituency of the Bono Region, Nana Asare Baffour Tutu II, has expressed immense gratitude to the (NPP) for bringing massive development to the district within seven years of its creation.
Speaking during the campaign visit of Dr.
Bawumia in Jinijini on Thursday, October 10, 2024, Nana Baffour Tutu II commended President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia for heeding their request to create a district for them, which he said has brought immense development to the people in many areas. "We asked the NPP government of President Akufo-Addo to grant us a district, and that has been duly done," said the Chief. "Since then, the level of development we have received here is remarkable.
The level of development we have had in seven years, some districts which have been in existence for about 40 years don't even have. "You should go and look at the administration block for the district, and that will give you an indication of what I'm talking about." The Chief also commended the NPP for providing Berekum West with its fair share of health facilities and roads. "We also have our share of the Agenda 111 hospital here in Jinijini.
