Ghana's newly launched digital CitizenApp, the digital platform for all digital public service delivery, which was launched on Monday, is already shattering global records for downloads.
Within 72 hours of its launch on Monday, the CitizenApp has climbed to the top of popular apps being downloaded on two of the leading mobile download platforms in the world, google Playstore and IOS.
On Google's Play store, the CitizenApp is ranked the number one most downloaded app in the world, in the past 82 hours, above popular apps, WhatsApp, TikTok and MyMomo app, which follow in second, third and fourth respectively.
On IOS, the Citizens app is the second most downloaded app behind TikTok, which leads at number one.
