Highlife musician and politician, Rex Owusu Marfo has slammed Ghanaians who have kept quiet about galamsey which is destroying our water bodies.
Rex Omar, a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), disclosed that some people do not care about the polluted nature of our water bodies.
He urged the citizenry to be bold and speak to condemn the galamsey menace because the devastating effects have already started manifesting in some newly born babies. "What has happened in this country that we are keeping quiet and so the galamsey issues which are polluting our water bodies you might think it doesn't concern you," he said. "But very soon you'll be devastated because now kids are being born without hands, some have no ears and you might think it doesn't bother you," he told Amansan Krakye. "As for us we will continue to do our quota and play our role and send a signal to every Ghanaian who is concerned about the future of this country to get up and speak".
He stressed.
