The Paramount Chief of Wenchi Traditional Area in the Bono Region, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoanpong Tabrako III, has given a heartfelt endorsement to Alan Kyerematen, leader and presidential candidate of the Movement for Change and Alliance for Revolutionary Change.
He has described it as a divine intervention and believes it would be a turning point for Ghana and for Alan himself. "God has a purpose for whatever happens in one's life," the chief remarked as Alan's 'Caravan Campaign Tour' team visited his palace. "I believe Alan parting ways with the NPP to contest as an independent candidate is God's way of lifting him up," he continued.
His words were filled with conviction as he appealed to Alan to remember Wenchi when he became president.
Known for its rich agricultural heritage, particularly in cashew production, the chief urged for the establishment of a cashew processing plant to create jobs for the youth and stimulate the local economy.
