Ghanaians have hailed the innovative thought behind the CitizenApp, a new digital platform by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government for the citizens.The app was launched on Monday by Vice President Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia.The CitizenApp brings together all digitized public services on a single platform and is aimed at enhancing public interaction and offering a seamless digital service delivery to Ghanaians, Vice President Bawumia said.The app which also has unique persona identification features as the Ghana Card can be personalized and used by citizens throughout their life to access several services including registering the birth of newborns, accessing all digitized public services including filing of taxes and seeking jobs as it provides vacancy information from government agencies.Since its launch on Monday by Dr.

Bawumia, a number of Ghanaians, both home and abroad, who have downloaded and used the app have applauded the government for its uniqueness.They also commend Dr.

Bawumia for leading such innovation for Ghana ahead of advanced countries.A number of Ghanaians living in Canada, US and the UK, who shared their experiences have admitted there is nothing like the CitizenApp in their countries."I have been living in Canada for the past 15 years and I must say that there nothing like this here for citizens.
