Black Stars coach Otto Addo has confirmed that Mohammed Kudus will lead Ghana as captain in their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sudan on Thursday, October 10.
Kudus takes on the captaincy role in the absence of regular captain Thomas Partey and deputy Andre Ayew.
Partey was forced to withdraw from the squad due to medical concerns, as Arsenal requested he undergo further tests in London.
Andre Ayew, who has also been a key figure in the team, is unavailable for the upcoming matches, leaving Kudus to step up as the leader on the field.
