The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has debunked claims that galamsey is destroying Ghana's water bodies.
Speaking during an interview, the Minister said his tap water remains clean hence he is not seeing the effects of the menace as is being wildly distributed.
Jinapor was asked if he will drink the tap water being produced by galamsey and he replied that his tap water has had no effect.
His comments angered social media users who attacked him. "Kwasia kasaaa nkoaaaa," one angry user wrote.
