Traders at the Dome Market have voiced their dissatisfaction with the current Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome-Kwabenya, Adwoa Safo, and are signalling their support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, Elikplim Akurugu Speaking on The Constituency on Channel One TV, some traders expressed concerns over the perceived lack of development in their area under the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which has represented the constituency for decades.

Precious Adepa, a trader at the market criticised the sitting MP for her absence and failure to address pressing issues in the constituency.

She noted that though she does not explicitly support the NDC, she has been impressed by Elikplim Akurugu's active engagement with the community during the campaign period.

According to her, there is a lack of infrastructure improvements in Dome-Kwabenya, particularly highlighting poor roads and persistent flooding in the market. "Adwoa Safo has been our MP for more than eight years, but I have not seen anything she has done.
