The Electoral Commission (EC) has refuted reports suggesting that its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, promised to release the Provisional Voters' Register (PVR) one week after the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on Tuesday, October 1.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 8, the EC clarified that during the IPAC meeting, Ms.

Mensa indicated the revised PVR would be made available within two weeks, not one, as claimed by some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The statement, signed by Deputy Chairman of Operations Samuel Tettey, assured the public that the revised register will include all necessary updates to ensure its accuracy and integrity ahead of the upcoming elections.
