Gospel musician Diana Asamoah has expressed strong faith in the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) ability to win the 2024 general elections, dismissing negative prophecies predicting otherwise.
Speaking at an NPP campaign rally in the Ashanti Region on October 5, 2024, she pointed to the government's notable achievements, such as the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, as reasons for their expected victory.
Drawing from the Bible, she referenced the story of King Hezekiah, who was told by Prophet Isaiah that he would die, but through prayer and faith, his fate was reversed, and God granted him 15 more years of life. "In 2 Kings 2:1-7, Isaiah prophesied that Hezekiah would die, but Hezekiah prayed, and God reversed it because of his service to Him.
Likewise, the NPP government, including Akufo-Addo, Bawumia, and NAPO, will not accept defeat.
