Professor Robert Ebo Hinson, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Ghana Communication Technology University, has urged facilitators and educators to prioritize the development of quality skills and training to uplift the educational sector.

According to him, the future of Ghana, Africa, and the world depends on the capabilities of teachers in the country.

Therefore, educators need to continuously upgrade their skills to meet evolving global standards.

Speaking as the Special Guest of Honor at the 8th edition of the Ghana International School (GIS) Time Educators Conference, held on October 5, 2024, at the school premises under the theme "Owning the Future: Teachers, Students, and New Knowledge," Professor Hinson emphasized the importance of foundational skills for teachers. "Basic skills like technology, digital literacy, time management, and critical thinking are crucial in the life of every teacher," he stated. "The first thing you need is digital literacy.
