A philanthropist and Ghana's former Ambassador to Denmark, H.E Maureen Abla Amematekpor with support from her children, has renovated a 3-unit kindergarten block for Agbozume-Sukladzi R.C Basic School in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta region.
At a brief ceremony to officially hand over the renovated classroom to the school authorities, H.E Amematekpor in a short address on her behalf, said she had always cherished kindergarten education as it was the foundation of all educational systems.
This according to the former Ambassador, sparked the zeal in her to adopt the school and embark on the project, when the headmaster of the School approached her to assist in the renovation of the deplorable Kindergarten block built by her late husband, the Hon.
Tommy Amematekpor several years ago in a bid to create a conducive teaching and learning environment for the kindergarten pupils.
