Ghanaian-American Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng has called for greater discipline within the pastoral ministry.

He asserted that many pastors, particularly African pastors, are exploiting the name of God to deceive people in the country.

As a result, he emphasizes the need for religious training and the grooming of pastors to revamp the pastoral ministry and uphold the integrity of men of God in Ghana and throughout Africa.

The archbishop, who is also a philanthropist, is among the men of God billed to mentor at the 2024 edition of the International Council for Gospel Churches on October 12, 2024.
