Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Former President John Dramani Mahama on Monday, October 7 received a delegation from the West African Elders Forum.
The delegation was led by former President of Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan.
The visit was shortly after Mr Mahama arrived in Accra from his campaign tour of the Savannah region "Since 2020, the Forum has been working to help prevent conflict arising mainly from elections in the subregion.
This initiative is commendable and very useful, and I had the privilege of leading the Forum's mission to the recent Nigerian election," Mr Mahama said.
