The Church of the Brethren (EYN) Moduganari in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, erupted in chaos when Pastor Reverend Alaku Vincent suddenly collapsed and died during a child dedication ceremony.
Witnesses said that while Vincent was officiating the ceremony, he suddenly slumped, losing consciousness.
Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was declared dead shortly afterwards.
The cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
