Four years after President Nana Akufo-Addo symbolically broke ground for the construction of the Enchi-Elubo road, the much-anticipated project remains incomplete, leaving residents in dire straits.
Communities along the 71.25-kilometre stretch, including Kromokrom, Kwawu, Omanpe, Nkwanta Nos. 1 & 2, Jema, Boinso, Ngakain, and Asemkrom, continue to endure deteriorating road conditions.
The situation has severely impacted transportation, leading to significant post-harvest losses, as local farmers struggle to move their produce to market.
One such farmer, 38-year-old Isaac Dansu from Ngakain, expressed his frustration to 3news. "Farm produce are often left to rot due to the poor state of the road.
