Stop demonstrating in Accra, move to the mining areas – Energy Analyst

An Energy Analyst and member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),  Kwadwo Nsafoah Poku has advised the protesters to move to mining areas and stage their demonstrations there instead of demonstrating in the capital of the country.

During a panel discussion on TV3 NewDay monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Kwadwo Poku said that the galamsey activities are not done by the government but the residents of the communities hence demonstrating in Accra is unnecessary. "Let's not sit in Accra and demonstrate.

I'm sad to see people demonstrating in Accra when the real work is being done in the mining areas.

The people doing the galamsey are not the government.
