The Deputy National Women's Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Hajia Safia Mohammed, has admonished women in the Salaga South constituency of the Savannah region to vote massively for the NPP on December 7.
Touting the achievements of the NPP in the constituency in terms of development, she noted that the NPP is the only political party that has the development of the area at heart.
The Salaga South Constituency is a major battle ground in the upcoming general elections with both the NPP and NDC parliamentary candidates seeking to win the seat.
Historically, the New Patriotic Party has won the parliamentary seat twice (2004 and 2016) with the NDC winning five times (1992-200, 2008-2016) and 2020 to 2024.
