One of the Judges for the 2024 Ghana's Most Beautiful, Janet Sunkwa Mills has urged traditional leaders and the law courts to stem efforts in providing swift justice without denial and delay.
Janet Sunkwa Mills made the call during the grand finale of the 2024 GMB on Sunday, October 6 at the National Theatre.
Her call was after Ashanti Region's representative Afriyie's performance on justice delayed even in the courts and traditional setting with persons alternating for curses, which they believe provides swift justice. "The core essence of what you delivered today was about justice denied or justice delayed and I thank you for bringing that to the forefront.
I was not aware of it so thank you for the education and information. "I think that if our law courts and the role that traditional elders in society play in providing justice instantly, fast without any hitches, I think this will go away.
