The Commissioner of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Julie Essiam, has highlighted the transformative potential of the newly launched CitizenApp, describing it as a solution to the frustrations long associated with accessing public services in the country.
The Citizen App, a government initiative, connects users to public notices from various arms and institutions, job opportunities from both public and private sectors, and all government services, while also offering access to information linked to the Ghana Card.
The app aims to streamline interactions between the public and government agencies, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
Speaking at the launch of the app on Monday, October 7, 2024, the GRA boss emphasised that the centralised mobile platform will provide citizens and residents with seamless access to government services, reducing bureaucracy and improving overall efficiency.
