Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh, a former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Assembly in Ghana, has passed away.
His death occurred on Sunday, October 6, 2024, following a period of illness.
He had been admitted to the Living Waters Hospital in Kumasi but passed away shortly after being discharged.
The news of his death was shared by NDC's National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi who expressed condolences to the bereaved family in a Facebook post on October 7 Yamoah Ponkoh was a significant figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), having held various leadership positions within the party.
