Six persons made up of four females and two males have been remanded for the lynching of Lance Corporal Gideon Adu Boakye, a Prison officer stationed at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison.
The incident happened at Kasoa Iron City on 29th September 2024.
The officer who sought permission to visit his relatives at Kasoa was allegedly besieged and lynched by a group of unknown assailants.
The Prisons Administration is collaborating with the Police to unravel the circumstances that led to the gruesome murder of the officer.
