A leading member of the opposition , Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh, is reported dead.
The former Chief Executive of Ejisu Juaben Municipal Assembly under the erstwhile administration is said to have been confirmed dead around midday on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
He is said to have been sick for several weeks before his death, although the cause of his demise remains unclear.
According to a report by Myjoyonline.com, sighted by GhanaWeb, he was admitted last week at the Living Waters Hospital in Kumasi but died at home after he was discharged.
