Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, the former Chief Executive of the Ejisu Juaben Municipal Assembly during the John Mahama administration, has sadly passed away.
The news of his death was reported on Sunday afternoon, although the exact cause has not yet been confirmed.
It is believed that Ponko had been unwell for several weeks leading up to his passing.
Yamoah Ponko was a well-known figure in Ghanaian politics, having served as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu Juaben in the Ashanti Region during President Mahama's tenure.
