Samuel Abu Jinapor, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency in the Northern Region, has expressed confidence that the strong political alliance between Northern Ghana and the Ashanti Region will help the (NPP) break the eight-year political cycle in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Speaking at the Bantama Constituency NPP Campaign launch in Kumasi after the Bantama Big Walk 2024 event, Jinapor praised the massive turnout, describing it as a clear indication that the NPP is on the path to victory on December 7.

He attributed this momentum to the leadership of Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Minister of Roads and Highways, whom he called "the hardworking road builder." "The strong alliance between Northern Ghana and Asanteman is going to break the 8 for the (NPP) on December 7th, with the help of God," Jinapor declared confidently, adding that Vice President 's candidacy is a key factor in the party's expected success.

Jinapor also stressed that the upcoming election will be about comparing the records of the NPP and the NDC.
