A former member of the ruling (NPP), Solomon Owusu, confessed that his decision to renounce his affiliation with the elephant family did not come by easily.

The now Senior Communications Team Member of the Movement for Change said the difficulty in his decision was due to his deep love for the NPP at the time.

Owusu's resignation from the NPP comes after his boss Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen had ditched the party somewhere in 2023 to contest the 2024 elections as an Independent Presidential Candidate.
