The Ministry of Education says it is working towards achieving zero tolerance for indiscipline in Ghana's Senior High Schools.

This is to curb the increasing rate of student violence.

Touching on the issue at the 2024 Ghana Teacher Prize event, the Minister of Education, Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum indicated that, measures have been put in place to address this. "We want zero tolerance for indiscipline in our high schools.

The era when students go on rampage destroying school properties will soon be over because we are going to be working with tertiary institutions to ensure that when you're moving from high school the university or training college, you will provide a testimonial that will state your character.
