A Kindergarten teacher at Madina SDA Basic school in the Greater Accra Region, Fuseina Fuseini has been crowned the overall best teacher at the Ghana Teacher Prize 2024.
The 47-year-old, who has been in the teaching profession for more than a decade attributed the national recognition to consistency in hard work and her innovative drive. "I want to encourage all teachers across the country to also put in their best by adopting innovative ways of improving teaching and learning outcomes", Madam Fuseina emphasized.
Madam Fuseina Fuseini 15 other outstanding teaching and non-teaching staff were rewarded for distinguishing themselves.
Whilst appreciating the contribution of teachers to national development, the Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum assured them of addressing their concerns over conditions of service.
