Member of Parliament for Madina and lawyer of 32 detained Democracy Hub protesters, Francis-Xavier Sosu, has strongly criticised the prosecution of 32 Democracy Hub protesters, labelling it a "charade of justice" and a deliberate effort to frustrate young activists.
As the legal representative for the protesters, Sosu expressed his concerns over the treatment of the demonstrators, who were detained while exercising their right to protest.
In an interview on Eyewitness News on Thursday, Sosu emphasised the importance of recognising the protesters' grievances. "Let's call a spade a spade.
What happened was a charade of justice and it is just a deliberate attempt to frustrate young people who are worried and want to pour out their hearts in clear languages that people in authority will hear," he stated.
