As preparations heighten for the upcoming +233 Peace March on October 5, 2024, the founder of Let Love Lead NGO, Big Dawood (also known as Nene Lartey Osakonor I), has met with the Deputy Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, to discuss the peace march and ensure a smooth, secure, and successful execution.
During their meeting, Deputy IGP Yohuno pledged his full support for the initiative and assured Ghanaians of the Ghana Police Service's unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security as the nation approaches its December 7, 2024, general elections.
The +233 Peace March, a flagship initiative of Let Love Lead, is designed to promote unity and non-violence ahead of the elections by bringing together political parties, civil society groups, and influential leaders from diverse sectors.
This year's march will feature high-profile personalities and institutions such as the Electoral Commission (EC), the Office of the National Chief Imam, and several influential figures including Bola Ray, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), Gifty Oware, and Bishop Sam Owusu.
