The Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (GI-KACE) has partnered with the Ministry of Communications and the World Bank to empower the youth to acquire digital skills.
The first phase of the programme will commence on October 14, 2024 targeting the Greater Accra, Volta, Upper West, Eastern, Western North, Northern, Central, Ashanti, Bono, and Bono East regions.
A statement issued by the Centre on Friday, October 4, 2024, announced the strategic collaboration aimed at bridging the digital skills gap in marginalised communities in the country. "The Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence is proud to announce a strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation (MoCD) and the World Bank to create, enhance and sustain digital job skills for the youth of Ghana.
This initiative, titled "eskills4Jobs," aims to bridge the digital skills gap and promote inclusive digital careers among marginalised communities," it stated.
