Residents of Hohoe have reportedly arrested a student of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), for allegedly destroying the posters of John Peter Amewu, the (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Hohoe Municipality in the Volta Region.
According to a report by citinewsroom.com, the student also destroyed multiple posters in the area.
Reacting to the action of the student, some local youth apprehended and physically assaulted him, an event that was captured in a video.
The in the Hohoe District said they are ignorant about the arrest regardless of the incident.
