Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has assured the people of the Sefwi-Wiawso Constituency of plans to create a new district out of the Wiawso Municipality to fast track development of the area.
He said the creation of a new district out of the current Wiawso Municipal Assembly would go a long way to ensure rapid infrastructural development within Asafo and Sefwi Asanwiaso enclave.
Speaking at separate durbars organised during his campaign tour of the Western North Region, at Aowin, Juaboso, Bodi, Akontombra, Sefwi Wiawso, Bia West, Bia East and Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituencies, he said the NPP had performed exceptional and deserved another term to continue with the good works.
Dr Bawumia, therefore, appealed to the people to retain the NPP government in power to continue the good policies and development projects ongoing in the country.
