The Special Aide described the president's comments as "utterly mind-boggling." She contended that the president's comments disclose an important disconnection from the realities facing Ghanaians, particularly those in northern Ghana.
During the president's speech, he criticised John Dramani Mahama and advised voters to vote for Bawumia as the best candidate suitable to continue the progress of the (NPP).
The president also suggested that the NDC's ballot position, number 8 will not be favorable in the forth coming general elections.
