The GES interdicted the heads for allegedly authorizing the collection of some monies from parents whose wards are students at their respective schools.
President of NAGRAT, Angel Carbonu said this when he addressed a news conference in Accra on October 3. "If the Management of the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education had taken their time to do a thorough investigation into the situations, they will realize that the authorization for the collection of monies, if that is the case any way, will not have come from the heads of the school." "… and if they had interrogated the parent teacher executives, they would have told them about the purpose for the collection of the monies" "As we speak, a lot of heads of institutions have been embarrassed in the public domain when they found out these heads of institutions have misconducted themselves.
