A former student of Adisadel College in Cape Coast in the Central Region has shared a painful journey of his struggle with drug addiction in an interview on the Anopa Nkomo show on Accra-based Kingdom FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
He opened up about how his early habits with marijuana and cigarettes led him down a dangerous path that severely affected his life, including his education.
Recalling how it all began, the young man explained, "I started smoking and chewing marijuana right after I completed Junior High School at Anglican in Bawjiase.
From there, it quickly escalated to smoking cigarettes and experimenting with other substances like tramadol." His addiction, which started innocently enough, soon took a heavier toll.
