A Deputy National Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu-Bempah, has said that the late former president Jerry John Rawlings, before he passed on, told him that the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, can never become the president of Ghana again.
In a video posted on X by Onua FM, Owusu-Bempah explained that he was invited by the former president one afternoon to have a conversation.
He said, "Former President Rawlings, two to three months before his death, told me that Mahama will never be president of this country.
Rawlings, and I'm saying it.
