A group of concerned citizens have stormed the streets of Ghana to demonstrate the NPP Government for refusing to listen to their pleas in stopping the operations of Galamsey.
The frustrated protestors are calling on the Government to put an immediate end to the illegal mining activities and it is ruining the livelihood of many Ghanaians.
The protesters are also demanding for the immediate release of 52 people currently on a two weeks remand.
They embarked on a protest a few weeks ago and were apprehended by the Police for allegedly destroying public properties.
