Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), , has expressed displeasure with Rev.
Isaac Owusu-Bempah, founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, for referring to , the NDC's flagbearer for the 2024 elections, as a kindhearted man.
Owusu-Bempah, during a fellowship with the former president and other clergy members on October 1, 2024, revealed that God had endorsed Mahama to be the next president of Ghana due to his good heart.
However, speaking in an interview on Adom FM on October 2, 2024, challenged this assertion, questioning the basis for describing Mahama as kindhearted. Anyidoho criticised Mahama for allegedly neglecting the late former president, John Evans Atta Mills, by not ensuring that his final resting place was properly maintained.
