National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwart Sam George has shared his concerns about the ongoing controversy surrounding Ghana's National Cathedral project in a recent appearance on Channel One TV's "Face To Face" show monitored by MyNewsGH.com.

His critique was particularly aimed at Dag Heward-Mills, the founder and Presiding Bishop of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches, who has faced scrutiny as a member of the Cathedral's Board of Trustees.

During the discussion hosted by Umaru Sanda, George highlighted the impressive architectural achievements of Heward-Mills, emphasizing that the bishop has constructed remarkable buildings with considerably less funding than what was used to create the 'hole' meant to symbolise the construction of the national cathedral.

This stark contrast raises questions about the management and execution of a project that has been fraught with allegations of corruption and mismanagement.
