The recent forecast by international rating agency, Fitch Solutions that Ghana's economic growth will rise from 2.9% in 2023 to a three-year high of 5.5% in 2024 is a clear indication that the comment by President Akufo-Addo that "we know how to bring back the economy" is happening, the Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah has said.
Mr Ahiagbah indicated that the positive economic growth path in Ghana's economy would accelerate to improve conditions for Ghanaians under a Bawumia presidency.
To that end, he has appealed to Ghanaians to vote for the presidential candidate of the NPP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for accelerated economic growth.
His comment comes at a time when international rating agency, Fitch Solutions has forecast that Ghana's economic growth will rise from 2.9% in 2023 to a three-year high of 5.5% in 2024.
