How a man who had gone to visit his wife at 37 Military Hospital was wrongfully arrested by police

During the recent Democracy Hub demonstration, the police arrested a young man who had gone to visit his wife, who had just given birth, when an unfortunate instance of someone finding themselves in the wrong place became his bane.

According to Felicity Nelson, who also claims to have been arrested during the protest, the man was totally ignorant of any misdemeanor that should warrant his arrest.

On her Facebook page, she shared details of events before the man's arrest, suggesting that he was only a victim of circumstances. "When I was arrested by the police, there was also a man who was arrested.

This man's wife had just given birth at the 37 Military Hospital, and he had been given a bill of GH₵2,400.
