The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has advised the leader of the Movement for Change and presidential candidate, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, to steer clear of politics of insults and concentrate on advancing his policies as he campaigns ahead of the elections on December 7.
On Wednesday, October 2, Alan Kyerematen presented his running mate to the Asantehene and asked for the Ashanti people's support during a visit to the Manhyia Palace.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II urged Kyerematen to focus his campaign on policy debates, stressing the significance of avoiding insults when engaging with the electorate. "All I will say is that Alan Kyerematen is my grandson and I will support his vision.
I will urge you to clearly explain your policies to Ghanaians so they understand what you're capable of.
