Bediatuo Asante in stable condition after illness in the US – Jubilee House

The Office of the President has addressed rumours surrounding the health status of Secretary to President Akufo-Addo, Nana Bediatuo Asante.

The government in an official communique said Mr Asante recently fell ill while conducting government business in the United States.

According to the statement, Nana Bediatuo Asante began to feel unwell after the conclusion of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, where he served as a key member of President Akufo-Addo's delegation.

He was subsequently admitted to a hospital in the U.S.
