Ghana defender Abdul Mumin has been named the winner of La Liga EA SPORTS' Goal of the Month for September following his jaw-dropping strike against Osasuna.
The Rayo Vallecano centre-back produced a moment of magic during the 3-1 victory at the Estadio de Vallecas, stunning both fans and opponents with a sensational left-footed shot from the edge of the box.
With Rayo trailing 1-0 in the 50th minute, Mumin surged forward from his defensive position, found space on the left flank, and fired a powerful rocket into the top corner.
The Osasuna goalkeeper had no chance, as Mumin's shot brought Rayo level and sparked a dramatic comeback for the Madrid-based side.
