The governing (NPP) has challenged the main opposition (NDC) to substantiate its allegations of a bloated voters' register, claiming the latter failed to present any evidence during an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Tuesday, 1 October 2024.
Convened by the (EC) in Accra, the meeting sought to address various concerns regarding the 2024 voters' register.
The NDC has asserted that the register includes ineligible voters and contains inaccuracies, leading to a nationwide protest on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, where they demanded a forensic audit of the electoral roll.
However, the NPP contended that the NDC missed a vital opportunity to back its claims during the discussions.
