Nana Akwasi Asiedu, the Chief of Adubinsukese in Ghana's Ashanti Region, has categorically denied allegations of employing landguards to intimidate residents, particularly those working on housing projects.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, September 23, 2024, the Adubinsukese Hene dismissed the claims as "a big lie," stressing that he does not use landguards and has never forced anyone off their land.

Instead, Asiedu clarified that he employs palace guards who assist people in locating plots of land.

He further noted that, for the sake of transparency, he has introduced these palace guards to the Afigya Kwabere Municipal Assembly. "I strongly deny allegations of using landguards to intimidate or chase people away.
