The Minister of Information, Fatimatu Abubakar, has revealed the government's plan to introduce an Online Record Management System (ORMS) to provide a convenient means for the public to submit Right to Information (RTI) applications to public institutions.
According to the Minister, the platform will transform record management across all public institutions and will also digitalize the RTI application process. ''This platform would not only digitalize the RTI applications but would also transform records management across all public institutions''.
The Online Record Management System (ORMS) when introduced would provide easy access to the application of the Right to Information across all public institutions.
This would help curb the issues of misinformation in the media space.
