Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has taken a swipe at the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo leadership over the legal impasse on the anti-gay bill before Parliament.
He states that the constitution of the country spells out the direction of the president and therefore the current stalemate should have been made to happen.
John Dramani Mahama promises not to allow LGBTQI+ in his administration and leadership as it goes against his faith as a Christian and a member of the Assemblies of God Church.
The former president was addressing the clergy in Accra when he made this known. "My mothers and Fathers in the Lord, the current impasse created by the Akufo-Addo, Bawumia administration on the promotion of proper human sexual rights and Ghanaian families value act which was passed by Parliament has set a dangerous precedent for our governance.
